Submitting your show to Apple Podcasts

If your podcast is hosted on Beamly, you can submit it to Apple Podcasts with one click, directly from your dashboard. You can submit your show to Apple Podcasts via the Distribution screen on your podcast area.

Before you submit

Beamly checks your show against the Apple Podcasts requirements before sending it. Your podcast must include:

• A title and a description
• An author
• At least one Apple Podcasts category (the Categories field in Edit Podcast)
• Square artwork between 1400 x 1400 and 3000 x 3000 pixels
• At least one episode with audio
• Public access. Private podcasts can't be listed on Apple Podcasts.

If something is missing, the Apple Podcasts panel lists it under Complete before submitting. The submit button stays disabled until everything on that list is fixed.

Submit with 1-click

1. Go to the Podcasts screen in your dashboard.
2. Click the Distribution icon on your podcast card. You can also open the podcast and click Distribution above the episode list.
3. Find Apple Podcasts and click Manage.
4. Click Submit to Apple Podcasts

Apple then reviews your show. This usually takes about an hour and can take up to 24 hours. You don't need to keep the page open. We'll email you when your show is live, with a link to its Apple Podcasts page.

Once your show is listed, the panel shows Live on Apple Podcasts and a View podcast link you can share with listeners. Every new episode you publish on Beamly appears on Apple Podcasts automatically.

If Apple doesn't approve the show, the Submit to Apple Podcasts button comes back. Check the list above, update your show, and submit again.

Claim your show (optional)

With 1-click submission, Beamly lists your show on Apple Podcasts for you. Claiming moves the show into your own Apple Podcasts Connect account, where you can manage the podcast, see analytics and more. You also need to claim your show to publish video episodes to Apple Podcasts -

To claim your show:

1. Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect with your Apple ID. If you don't have one, you can create it there.
2. Choose Claim Existing Show, find your show, and copy the claim token Apple gives you.
3. In Beamly, open Distribution > Apple Podcasts, paste the token into the Claim token field, and click Add claim token.

Beamly adds the token to your RSS feed, and Apple confirms the claim the next time it reads your feed. The panel shows Your show is being claimed in the meantime. This can take up to 24 hours but is usually faster than that.

Already on Apple Podcasts?

If you moved an existing show to Beamly hosting and it was already on Apple Podcasts, you don't need to submit it again. Beamly links your existing listing during the migration, and the panel shows Live on Apple Podcasts.

Submitting manually through Apple Podcasts Connect instead

If you'd rather add the show to your own Apple account from the start, you can submit your RSS feed to Apple directly:

1. Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect with your Apple ID.
2. Click the + button and choose to add a new show with an RSS feed.
3. Paste your Beamly RSS feed URL. You can copy it from Distribution > Copy RSS Feed URL.
4. Review the details Apple pulls from your feed, then fill in the required fields, such as content rights, contact information, and publishing frequency.
5. Submit your show for review.

Apple usually reviews these submissions within 1 to 3 business days. After that, new episodes you publish on Beamly appear on Apple Podcasts automatically.
