Pop-ups & Announcements

You can create a pop-up that appears when users first visit your site. The pop-up is created with our drag & drop builder so the possibilities are endless. It can be great for capturing visitor emails, embedding media or, displaying your latest content releases, announce any major news etc.

Creating a new pop-up

Here are 5 easy steps to add a new promotional pop-up:

1. Enable the pop-up option via the "Customize -> Engagement -> Popups" section.
2. Click on the Edit Popup Data button to start editing your pop-up and add content.
3. Set the screen width you'd like to use for displaying the pop-up. (in percentages)
4. If you don't want the pop-up to display right away when loading the page - set a Pop-up Delay (in milliseconds)

A few important things to keep in mind:

• Popups on mobile are always set to full width (with some margins to keep it clean)
• Popups are being displayed once to visitors until dismissed. Then it won't show up for recurring visitors unless they start a new browser session or use a different browser. Displaying the same pop-up over and over again isn't the best idea so we make sure it's only loaded once.
• You can only build and activate one pop-up at a time.
• You can add any image, video or background image to the popup, but remember it's recommended to keep a small resource-size for improved page speed.
