Zapier Integration
Beamly's Zapier integration will notify Zapier when certain things happen on your site - for example when an episode is published, a user signs up, or a form is submitted.
From there, you can use Zapier to trigger actions in other tools (like sending a message, adding a row to a spreadsheet, creating a task, or updating your email list).

Before you start
- You need a Zapier account.
- You need access to the Beamly site you want to connect.
- For now, this integration is outgoing only (Beamly sends events to Zapier). It does not create or edit on Beamly based on incoming data.
How to set up a Zap (Beamly -> Zapier)
- In Zapier, create a new Zap.
- Under Trigger, choose Beamly as the app.
- Choose the Beamly trigger event you want to use (see the list below).
- When Zapier asks you to connect an account, connect your Beamly account and approve access.
- Test the trigger. Zapier will pull in a recent or sample item so you can see what data is available.
- Add an Action step and choose what should happen in the next app (for example: create a row in Google Sheets, send an email, or post a message).
- Test the Zap if you want to ensure everything works as expected, then hit publish.
Tip: If you manage more than one Beamly website, double-check that the Zap is connected to the correct site/account during setup. You can connect multiple sites but you'd have to authenticate each one separately.
Available triggers
Beamly currently supports the following triggers on Zapier:
- Episode Published: Fires when a new podcast episode is published.
- Lesson Published: Fires when a new course lesson is published.
- Video Published: Fires when a new video is published.
- Blog Post Published: Fires when a new blog post is published.
- Review Submitted: Fires when a new review is submitted.
- Contact Form Submitted: Fires when a site form is submitted (contact and voicemail forms).
- Website User Created: Fires when a new user signs up on your website.
- Membership Created: Fires when a new paid membership is purchased.
- Order Created: Fires when a product is purchased (an order is created).
- Participant Created: Fires when a new participant is created.
- Comment Created: Fires when a new comment is created on an episode, video, lesson, or blog post.
Troubleshooting
If a Zap does not trigger:
- Confirm the Zap is turned on in Zapier.
- Make sure the content is actually published (not a draft or scheduled for the future).
- Test the trigger step again to refresh sample data.
- If you recently reconnected accounts, confirm the Zap is still connected to the correct Beamly site/account.
